Huzzah Theatre Troupe Outreach Programs
We are hoping to launch our outreach programs in the near future.
The mission of the Huzzah Outreach Programs is to bring theatre and the arts to people who may not otherwise have opportunities to express themselves in these ways. We bring our programs to these people by partnering with community organizations.
If you are part of an organization that may be interested in booking any of our outreach programming, please contact us to discuss specific programs, scheduling, and payment options for our services.
"Curtains of Gold" Program
This program is designed for senior citizens. We will bring our theater programming to senior centers, assisted living facilities, and other community organizations. Our theatre and arts activities are adapted to be positive and appropriate for this age group.
"Theatre is for Everyone" Program
This program is designed for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as individuals with autism and Down syndrome. We will partner with local organizations that provide resources for these individuals. Our theatre and arts activities are adapted to be positive and appropriate for these groups.
"Time to Rediscover" Program
This program is designed for adults ages 18 to 55 who would like to participate and learn about theatre as beginners with little or no experience. This is an opportunity for adults who want to try something new and/or revive an interest from their past.
"Stages for All Ages" Program
This program is designed to be multi-generational. It provides opportunities for families to sign up and learn about the joy of theatre together, as well as people of different generations who may not be from the same family.

Huzzah Theatre Troupe Presents...
100% Recycled Children's Theatre (Click here for More)
Young kids! Old kids! Come one, come all! We perform a combination of original, adapted, and existing stories covering a range of themes and issues that are relevant to children and teenagers. All of the props, costumes, and scenery are made from used materials or discarded items that no one else wants. We then turn these into creative works of art to help tell our stories!!!
Project Wonder
Creating and performing theatre for children is wonderful. Even more wonderful, however, is guiding children to create their own artistic expressions. The Huzzah Theatre Troupe is hoping to launch our "Project Wonder" soon.
Purple Nebula
Purple Nebula is a collection of true stories and skits from our own lives, and also encompasses whatever adventures we decide to pursue together as a troupe. We hope that through sharing our stories, we can all find common ground and celebrate ourselves as human beings, flaws and all!
Theatre Buddies
This program is designed for children in small groups of 3-4. Invite your child's friends to take a theatre buddies class together! Classes can consist entirely of children who already know each other, or we can make friends as we go. This is an opportunity for children to learn about theatre in a low-pressure, positive environment with friends. Small groups enable instruction to be shaped around student interests and abilities.
Drama Coaching
March 15, 2013
This program is for students who want one-on-one coaching in dramatics for a current role they are playing, or perhaps in preparation for an upcoming audition.
